Great Decisions: Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide

Thursday, November 2110:00—11:30 AMTown Building, 2nd Floor, Whitney Room

Stow's Randall Library Great Decisions discussion group meets again this coming Thursday, November 21, 10AM in the Stow Town Building, Whitney Room, 1st floor. This month’s topic is "Ethnic Cleansing, and Genocide", first of a three-part series. We begin with the "Trail of Tears" in the 1830s, the forced movement of Native American Indians from the southeast USA to Oklahoma. We then discuss parallels with the forced migration in Nagorno-Karabakh --- where ethnic Christian Armenians are being expelled from this beautiful valley in Azerbaijan.

Please come to the Randall Library in the Town Building, lower level, to read about the "Trail of Tears" and Nagorno-Karabakh.

Join the Stow chapter of the Foreign Policy Administration's Great Decisions discussion series group! Meetings take place at the library on the third Thursday of each month from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.

Topics are chosen from the FPA's 2024 guide book, which are available for checkout and browsing at the library.
